EMV 2019: Call for Workshops open until 13 August 2018

Experts from industry and science have the opportunity to submit topics for a workshop at the EMV 2019 enabling them to benefit from the platform and passing on their EMC know-how to a qualified expert audience. The three-hour workshops provide both basic and technical specialist knowledge with practical relevance.

The program for approximately forty workshops will be compiled by the twenty-member committee headed by Professor Dr.-Ing. Marco Leone from the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. This year, the German and English language workshops will take place at the same time as the international exhibition and will cover the following main topics:

Topic A: EMC basics, regulations, standards, quality assurance, services as well as questions on insurance and liabilities

Topic B: EMC processes and tools/ technologies, concepts, products and specific phenomena

Topic C: EMC aspects and issues in specific technical or technological environments

Topic D: EMC and biological effects arising from electromagnetic fields from the engineers’ point of view

Speakers profit from a range of benefits including a fee, a share of the profits, discounts for other EMC workshops, as well as opportunities to create valuable contacts from the workshops and exhibition. The exhibition will be hosting exhibitors from all over the world, who will be presenting the latest products, trends, innovations and services.
