Below you will find helpful information for preparing your workshop as well as organizational details for your participation as a speaker at the EMV 2027.

Workshop documentation

Each participant will receive the documentation by download link via e-mail in advance of the EMV. This serves as a working basis and reference for the participants.

Attention: Product presentations of any kind are not permitted. In line with this, your documentation should be prepared in a neutral way.

  • For the distribution, we need your documentation as an unprotected PDF file (max. 10 MB).
  • We will forward the documentation you send in to the participants without further correction.
  • Cover sheet: To ensure that all workshop presentations have a consistent look and feel, Mesago will send you a standardized cover page in advance, which you should insert at the beginning of your presentation materials.
  • Content: It is recommended that all presentation slides used in the workshop are included in the documentation. You are welcome to use our presentation template.
  • Formatting: The use of Arial font (minimum size 10) with single line spacing is recommended. The slides should have consecutive page numbers and be organized according to the decimal numbering system.
  • Size and file: A maximum of 160 slides per documentation is recommended (max. 2 slides per page). The unprotected PDF file must not exceed the maximum size of 10 MB.

We need your documentation by April 13, 2027, at the latest. You can either upload it via the speaker portal or send it by email to sabrina.esposito@mesago.com. You will receive access to the speaker portal in February 2026.

By submitting your paper to Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH, you accept the copyright conditions.

As the author, you affirm that no unlicensed software has been used to create your documentation and you release Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH from all third-party claims for damages.

Workshop presentation on site

During your workshop, practical and application-oriented contents supplemented by experiments and simulations should be presented.

We strive to guarantee high quality workshops. Therefore, please note that your presentation is designed as training only and that product presentations as well as marketing messages are not permitted.

The duration of your workshop is 2 hours and 45 minutes (plus a 30 minutes coffee break). You decide when to take the break.Please also calculate about 15 minutes for questions and discussions.

You are welcome to use our presentation template. It is already adjusted to the final format 16:9.

To reach a wide professional audience, the preferred language for the workshops is English. However, you are also welcome to conduct your workshop in German.

All rooms are equipped with a flipchart and projector.
Important: Please bring your own laptop and your presentation.

Experiments & Demonstrations session on site

The aim of the Experiments & Demonstrations presentations is to demonstrate complex concepts, methods, or technologies in a practical, live setting. They are designed to make abstract theories accessible and prove their practical value. They provide an opportunity for direct questions and discussions.

We want to offer participants high-quality presentations. Therefore, please note that your presentation is intended as a pure educational event, and product presentations or marketing events are not permitted.

You will have 30–40 minutes for your session. There will be 15 minutes available for setting up your equipment.

You are welcome to use our presentation template. It is already adjusted to the final format 16:9.

To reach a wide professional audience, the preferred language for the presentation is English.

The Experiments & Demonstrations Sessions will take place on the Technology Stage in the exhibition hall. Tables will be set up in front of the stage where you can set up your equipment. The stage is equipped with a screen and a sound system. You will be provided with a headset.

Important: Please bring your own laptop with your presentation.

Participation at EMV

Online registration is required for speakers, but it is free of charge In January you will receive an email with registration information. During the registration process, you will also have the opportunity to sign up for other workshops and evening events. Please note that online registration for speakers must be completed by February 25, 2027, in all cases.

You are expected to lead your presentation in person. However, if you are unable to attend, please notify us immediately and provide the name of a qualified colleague to serve as your substitute. Please email the relevant information to sabrina.esposito@mesago.com.

Please make sure we have the contact information of your fellow speakers. We will also send them an email asking them to register as speakers.
