UXM Wireless Connectivity Test Platform
Wireless Connectivity Test Solution
The Keysight E7515W UXM wireless connectivity test solution supports next-generation Wi-Fi 7. The platform enables the most advanced Wi-Fi® / cellular coexistence testing and unique testing of fixed wireless access (FWA) devices. Developed by the IEEE as the 802.11be standard, Wi-Fi 7 is the next generation of Wi-Fi wireless communications technology, promising significant performance advancements and improvements over the previous Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 6 standards.
The UXM wireless connectivity test solution supports client and access point (AP) test setup, interworking testing, functional testing, load testing, and FWA testing from a turnkey, integrated, compact solution.
Built on the same hardware architecture as the Keysight E7515B UXM 5G wireless test platform, the E7515W can perform extensive RF parameterized testing and IEEE conformance with full rate throughput. This solution introduces a unique rate versus range test, enhanced receiver (Rx) sensitivity, and a powerful Wi-Fi 6 / 6E / 7 device under test orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) analysis. The analysis method involves sweeping through every possible resource unit (RU) allocation for a thorough assessment.
The E7515W UXM conducts client device mobility characterization and offers a wide range of metrics such as throughput, packet loss, retransmissions, aggregation, and jitter. The platform supports Wi-Fi cellular interworking like Wi-Fi offload and voice-over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) calling, running both the cellular and Wi-Fi simultaneously.
The one-box capability for fixed wireless access testing is unique in the industry, wrapping around the device under test with Wi-Fi client simulation on the fronthaul and cellular backhaul. This system can load hundreds of Wi-Fi clients on an access point (AP) for Wi-Fi 6 and 7. The platform offers comprehensive benchmarking and quality of experience (QoE) validation using integrated VeriWave technology.
