EMV 2020 in Cologne cancelled due to Covid-19

5 Mar 2020

Due to the increasing spread of Covid-19 (coronavirus) in Europe and the uncertainty associated with it, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH has taken the decision to cancel the EMV exhibition and the conference due to take place in Cologne. The event was originally scheduled for 17 – 19 March 2020. The company stresses that the health of all those involved has top priority.

Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH came to the decision during close consultation with various participants. The cancellation of the event is intended to prevent participants arriving from risk areas and unintentionally attending the fair when ill.

"We very much regret having to cancel this year's EMV in Cologne. However, the health of our exhibitors, visitors, speakers, participants, partners and employees is our top priority. The decision was not an easy one for us, nor for other trade fair organizers who are facing similar challenges worldwide due to the current situation", explains Petra Haarburger, President of the Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

The next EMV exhibition with workshops will take place regularly from
23 – 25 March 2021 in Stuttgart. Current information is available at
