Workshop submission conditions and procedure
Structure and content
By submitting your abstract you commit yourself to give your presentation at the EMV 2027 in Stuttgart from 27 – 29 April 2027 according to the announcement in the workshop program.
A period of three hours and 15 minutes (incl. a 30 minutes break) is available for each workshop.
The workshops serve as training courses to a special EMC topic area. Therefore they should be designed with a strong focus on applicability and supported by case studies, practical experience or experiments. The workshops are characterised by a high degree of interaction between the speaker and the participants. Product presentations and advertising presentations are not permitted.
Please use the abstract submission template to ensure a uniform form for all abstracts.
Documentation
Furthermore, you hereby agree to prepare your workshop documentation in electronic form and provide it to Mesago on time. Should you fail to submit your documentation on time, we reserve the right to exclude your presentation from the workshop program.
Workshop language
To reach a wide professional audience, the preferred language for the workshops is English. However, you are also welcome to conduct your workshop in German.
Documents required
The following information must be entered during the submission process:
- Title of the presentation (max. 100 characters incl. spaces)
- Assignment to a main topic
- List of all participating speakers and co-speakers with full details
- Short biography of the speaker and the co-speakers (each max. 500 characters incl. spaces)
- Brief description for the program (max. 1,500 characters incl. spaces)
- Goal of the workshop (max. 500 characters incl. spaces)
- Definition of the target group (max. 500 characters including spaces)
- Abstract of your presentation with simple outline and description of the content as a PDF file (please use the abstract template)
Selection procedure
All abstracts will be submitted to the committee for selection. The selection criteria are the timely and complete receipt of your documents, content and preparation, as well as topicality and relevance with regard to the workshop topics. From mid-November, we will inform all speakers whether their workshop has been accepted.
Online registration and fee
Workshop speakers receive a fee of 780 euros plus the opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus. The speaker or their company is responsible for covering travel expenses related to the presentation. Workshop speakers may attend other workshops at discounted rates.
All workshop speakers must register online. Registration is free and includes admission to the social events.
Experiments & Demonstrations session submission conditions and procedure
The new format, introduced for the first time in 2026, will continue at EMV 2027 following its successful debut. The session will take place at the Technology Stage in the exhibition hall and is therefore open to all visitors and exhibitors, allowing you to reach an even wider audience.
Structure and content
By submitting your abstract you commit yourself to give your presentation at the EMV 2027 in Stuttgart from 27 – 29 April 2027 according to the announcement in the program.
During the Experiments & Demonstrations Session on the Technology Stage in the exhibition hall, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate new insights with the help of equipment or to clearly explain the basics of EMC using equipment. You will have 30–40 minutes for this.
You must bring your own equipment, and you will have 15 minutes to set up. Please note that all experiments and demonstrations must comply with the technical guidelines of the Landesmesse Stuttgart
When applying, please also submit a detailed abstract of 2–4 pages. Submissions for the Experiments & Demonstrations Session will be evaluated by the committee as part of the Call for Workshops, and a selection will be made based on this evaluation.
Please use the abstract submission template to ensure a uniform form for all abstracts.
