    Testing of environmental simulation

    Testing of environmental simulation

Environmental simulationLaboratories for vibration, climatic, shock, etc.

Technical products are subject to numerous environmental influences throughout their service life. They affect performance, service life, and therefore also the product's effect on the environment.

The aim of the environmental simulation (vibration, mechanical shock, climatic and temperature, etc.) is to check and ensure the quality and reliability of technical products. The simulation of the environmental influences on technical products can identify vulnerabilities. This helps to minimize the possible problems in advance of the manufacturing process as well as the expected product life cycle.

    The environmental simulation laboratory is:

    • A technical service of the Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA, Federal Motor Transport Authority) according to UNECE-R100 (03 series of amendments) Part II, Rechargeable Energy Storage System (REESS)
    • A technical service of the Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA, Federal Motor Transport Authority) according to EC Directive 2006/96/EC (annex V), electronic immobilizer

    Radio testing

    Radio testing

Whether for control, diagnosis or remote maintenance - wireless components are indispensable in modern technologies. Phoenix Testlab therefore has its own radio laboratory with a highly qualified team to competently meet the constantly growing requirements.

The increasing number of radio components in the increasingly dense radio spectrum requires precise compliance with the legal requirements for radio products. Phoenix Testlab tests and evaluates all essential requirements of radio components according to the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and national standards, e.g. of the USA, Canada and Japan.

Phoenix Testlab offers a complete service as an independent and accredited radio laboratory. We accompany our customers from the project planning phase through to the worldwide market launch of the product.

Examples of radio products are: WLAN, Bluetooth, UWB (ultrawide band), RFID, NFC, Cellular, mm-wave, RADAR, remote control products.

As a member of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), Phoenix Testlab is involved in the drafting of relevant standards. Current developments are technically implemented at an early stage using suitable test equipment.
