NANOMAG (Ferrite powders: Fe3O4, MnZn, NiZn)
Description
NANOMAG is a range of powders of different iron oxides:
- Fe₃O₄, magnetite with a median-size at 0,7 µm (granulometry distribution from 0,1 to 5 µm),
- MnZn, Manganese-Zinc (Mn,Zn)Fe₂O₄ ferrite powder with a median-size at 0,2 µm (granulometry distribution from 0,1 to 0,5 µm),
- NiZn,
- Hexaferrites,
- Superparamagnetic particles (10 nm).
These powders are a key element in EMC, thanks to its ability to absorb microwave electromagnetic waves.
NANOMAG is easily incorporated into all types of polymers and silicones to produce electromagnetic absorbing composite materials, such as thin, flexible, easily machinable sheets. These composites can also be used to make shielding gaskets, absorbing foams, magnetic paints and other products.
According to the formulation of the powder, different frequency ranges will be targeted allowing us to cover a wide range of frequencies from a few MHz to 100 GHz.
