Description

The Laser-Powered LSPM High‑Speed Power Meters are available as a triple, dual or single channel power meter. The Laser-Powered LSPM High‑Speed Power Meter combine high dynamic range and high resolution. It allows for high‑speed and high‑accuracy power measurements in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 26.5 GHz.

The main features of the Laser-Powered LSPM are:

  • optical power and data transmission
  • power head inside chamber
  • no separate power supply
  • reliable and stable connection
  • 1.000 m fiber cable length

  • high accuracy which is achieved based on an extensive in‑house calibration including frequency and linearity compensation and actively stabilized power sensor temperature
  • high sampling rate of 2 MSamples/s which allows for high‑resolution time‑domain measurements
  • quick and straightforward combination of the Laser-Powered LSPM Power Meter and the LSProbe 1.2 and LSProbe 2.0 E-Field Probe which allows for significant time‑savings when performing various EMC measurements, e.g., according to IEC 61000‑4‑3 and IEC 61000‑4‑21.

Available as LSPM 1.1 with a frequency range from 9 kHz to 8.2 GHz and as LSPM 2.1 with a frequency from 9 kHz to 26.5 GHz.

Electric-Field Sensor: LSProbe 2.0/ 1.2 10 Hz - 26.5 GHz

The LSProbe 2.0 is a next-generation, high speed, high accuracy and high dynamic range electric-field probe. Its frequency range is 9kHz -26.5 GHz.
The Field Probe's six-monopole antenna design ensures isotropic operation at all frequencies.

The LSProbe 1.2 with a frequency from 10 Hz - 8.2 GHz employs fine-grained compensation of linearity, frequency and temperature, quaranteeing accurate measurements from less than 1V/m to more than 15 kV/m.
A dynamic range of 60dB is achieved for all frequencies.

The E-Field Sensors LSProbe 2.0/ LSProbe 1.2 contain a low-frequency and high-frequency detector for each of the six/ three monopoles. The detectors can be operated continuously at 500kSamples/s or in burst mode at 2MS/s. This enables direct radar pulse measurements and accelerated, frequency sweep-based measurements.

A single axis, continuously sampling mode, operating at 2MS/s, can be used for Equivalent Isotropically Radiated Power (EIRP) measurements of IoT products without antenna connectors in accordance with EN 300 328 and EN 301 893.

Laser-powered operation eliminates battery recharging and replacement.
Extensive in-house calibration data are provided with each field probe and is handlles automatically by the LSProbes TCP ServerSoftware.

The E-Field Sensors LSProbe 2.0/ LSProbe 1.2 are controllable with third-party EMC-software support for R&S EMC32, R&S ELEKTRA, emcware, BAT-EMC, Tepto, Tile, Win6000, Compliance5/6 and Radimation.
