Description

FILAMAG is a range of magnetic composite products made from polymer filled with magnetic nanoferrite powders NANOMAG. HYMAG'IN has the expertise to integrate these powders into different types of matrices: flexible for FILAMAG-F, high-temperature resistance for FILAMAG-T, or any tailor-made absorbing product within different forms: paint, coating, resin, pellet, filament.

These products are used for absorbing EMC and RF applications from 1 to 20 GHz and more: decoupling antenna, resonant cavities, RF loads, shielding leaks, stealth, ...

FILAMAG is also available as a 3D printing filament. It can be used with standard Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing technology.

NANOMAG (Ferrite powders: Fe3O4, MnZn, NiZn)

NANOMAG is a range of powders of different iron oxides:

  • Fe₃O₄, magnetite with a median-size at 0,7 µm (granulometry distribution from 0,1 to 5 µm),
  • MnZn, Manganese-Zinc (Mn,Zn)Fe₂O₄ ferrite powder with a median-size at 0,2 µm (granulometry distribution from 0,1 to 0,5 µm),
  • NiZn,
  • Hexaferrites,
  • Superparamagnetic particles (10 nm).

These powders are a key element in EMC, thanks to its ability to absorb microwave electromagnetic waves.

NANOMAG is easily incorporated into all types of polymers and silicones to produce electromagnetic absorbing composite materials, such as thin, flexible, easily machinable sheets. These composites can also be used to make shielding gaskets, absorbing foams, magnetic paints and other products.

According to the formulation of the powder, different frequency ranges will be targeted allowing us to cover a wide range of frequencies from a few MHz to 100 GHz.
