As the lines for power and data communication are combined in one cable, the cables needs to be split up. The cables are not supplied by Audivo. More and more devices use Ethernet for communications especially in the automotive domain.
For this shielded converters for Ethernet and BroadR-Reach (automotive Ethernet) are needed.

Thus it is ideal for optical post processing e.g for automatic change or error detection during immunity testing. PONTIS offers a special software for automated surveillance.
The camera can be operated remotely by the PONTIS EMC HD camera controllers.

The IRThermo6 is designed to observe the temperature of areas and devices in harsh electromagnetic environments or where low emission is required (e.g. EMC test facilities). The camera is covering an area of up to 19 * 12m at a distance of 9.5 m (other lenses on request). It is specially suited to survey temperature critical rooms and devices, where overheating can lead to severe damage. There are different lenses available to cover various areas. An auto­focus function helps to get precise results under changing conditions.
The camera works like a regular IP camera with ONVIF support. Addionally a comfortable PC software allows to set the parameters like region of interest and temperature ­thresholds.
The IRThermo6 can be controlled by an HDCon6 or an HDcon6IP, which offer event detection (e.g. over heat) and a fail safe contact.
